At the beginning of September 2022, Prof. Dr. Joachim Hornegger, President of FAU (Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen) and Helmut Ziegler, Head of Technology & Innovation at evosoft and Siemens ADV D, visited the evosoft Hungary HQ in Budapest.
The visit was an excellent opportunity to present the professional portfolio and innovative solutions of evosoft to Prof. Dr. Hornegger. Furthermore, together with Istvan Petenyi (CEO evosoft Hungary Kft.), it was discussed how the potential of evosoft can be communicated to the university students.
Questions like “Which programs enable evosoft to involve students in Erlangen as well as in Budapest in industrial projects in a way that both sides can benefit from?” and “How can evosoft promote cross-border studies and internships?” were in the focus. The university program EELISA provides the right basis for this, which evosoft will support by offering internships in Nuremberg and Budapest.
Cooperation between industry and universities is essential to keep both sides competitive and to educate the next generation of engineers in the best possible way.
